Q. Can you tell me a little about Arabian Dreams?
If you love the story of Arabian Nights, you will love Arabian Dreams! Written as a one-act, non musical, my goal was to make an Arabian style play simple to produce and easy to stage. It is a wonderful alternative to Arabian Nights! (Music is available in case you want it for ambiance or even a dance scene or two, but this is purely optional).
Q. Can you tell me a little about your adaptation of A Midsummer Night's Dream?
Again, my goal was to make Shakespeare's play easier and simpler to produce. This adaptation of A Midsummer Night's Dream is a one-act, non-musical, with a great story line from the original play in modern English. A really fun way to experience Shakespeare!
Q. How long are your plays?
All of my plays are one-act plays, designed to be performed in less than an hour. They are perfect for school performances!
Q. What about the sets?
These easy-to-produce plays call for just one simple set, which you can make more elaborate if you wish.
Q. What about costumes?
My plays are designed for simple costumes which, as your set, can be more elaborate if you wish. My intention is to make your life easy!
Q. How many background actors can your plays accommodate?
As many or as few as you wish. My plays provide you with complete creative freedom for a large or small background cast.
Q. Will you accept a purchase order?
Definitely.
Q. Does the purchase price cover all of the scripts I need, all of my performances at my non-profit educational establishment, and the video-recording license so it can be recorded?
Yes! It's all covered. All of your scripts are downloadable and printable. All of your performances are included in your one fee. Video and upload as much as you want!
Q. I don't want my audience to be bored. Are your plays entertaining?
I take pride in writing plays that are entertaining and fun, and your audience will have as much fun as you and your actors!
Q. What about the writer?
Hi! I'm Tanya, and I believe that recreation is important to our happiness and peace of mind . . . theatre, movies, television, etc. all have a place in the world of entertainment. I love seeing plays and also enjoy dancing, reading, great fashion, teaching yoga and, of course, writing. I hope for my plays to bring many hours of fun to everyone participating and watching!
